German Division Six frontrunners BTsV Greifswald 03 signed Farmer Bunnies defender Ibad Hanis for the sum of S$1.4 million today, right after putting S$2.1 million on Israeli fullback Danya Deutsch. Currently six points clear in their league, Greifswald appear to be pushing towards reliving their old glory days.

Hanis' sale, coupled with Marcus Tsum's days before, has swelled the Bunnies' coffers appreciably, but head coach Elias van Dal remained mum on whether they would be putting any of that to use. "We have a full load of some of the best trainees around." the Dutchman said. "But we wouldn't turn down anyone exceptional, if they become available."

It has been a rougher journey for 18 year-old Daniel Nguyen, whose striking ambitions have hit a roadblock with offers not forthcoming. Given that even former Chicken Wings star Zaman Syarif Thamin IKram has been moved on down the divisions from IFK Promp to Catalunya-based VilavenutOnFire, though, his predicament is very understandable.
