Farmer Bunnies striker Yap Chuan Lee agreed on a S$100000 deal with newly-formed Italian Division Eight side Pied Piper today, and was ranked among the top of their recruiting class along with Spanish expat Song Cikai, and the twinkle-footed Faroese Tórður Reynslág.
Rancher Rabbits scout Ooi Long Ming, who counted Yap as the top talent that he had discovered thus far, professed to be staggered at the fee. "Pied Piper have a huge bargain on their hands." It will be the end of the line for 18 year-old right winger Abdul Rashid Harun, sadly, after the former Ranchers boy finally threw in the towel after two months of looking. "It's a shame, he wasn't bad at all." Ooi noted. "His lack of pace didn't help him in trials, from what I could gather. The wing's a bad position for that."
