Kurla Quick Fik

17 year-old Farmer Bunnies defender Fikri Ridha Jalaal has found a new home with Estonia's Kurla, with the newly-formed V.54 club making him one of their first wave of recruits, for a S$56000 fee. Fikri had originally been approached by Romanian Division Six side Big looser, but it soon turned into a bidding war between Kurla and Moroccan Division Five newcomers Spartiate FC.

Fikri was delighted to be a part of Kurla head coach Jüri Välk's new project, and while he has been pencilled in as a centreback with the Rancher Rabbits, his unusual height has led him to be viewed as a possible prospect at forward too. "At the minimum, he should be up there for corners." Rabbits scout Ooi Long Ming commented. "They'll have to respect six feet four."
