Badrul & Chang Exit
Two youth hopefuls embarked on their professional careers today, with the Chicken Wings' Chang Seng Li switching to Toa Payoh club FC Royal Flush. The brand-new Division Four side have also recruited Ukrainian Davyd Paevskiy and St. Xavier's FC lad Chow Kuan Yong, with a view towards building an exciting young attacking line.
Chang sees himself featuring in David Hoang's starting lineup soon, a sentiment echoed by Wings chief scout Tham Beng Li. "Seng Li deserves a decent run of games for his attitude, and he's useful at set-pieces too. A new team can certainly use such versatility."
Farmer Bunnies youth trainee Johan Badrul would range further afield, as he went to Dutch sixth division Awesome Ninja's, also on a free. He shouldn't be too lonely either, with Parkway Paladins' Chow Sze Lee and CE Sindiket 07's Leow Tian Chao having also impressed Ninja's gaffer Joep Hunsel in recent weeks.
Although Badrul has spent most of his time on the wings for the Rancher Rabbits, he professed himself at his new employers' disposal. "I'm not picky, really. I just want to play football."
