It was with some disappointment that
Hovaness Noubaryan received the news from his Loki City C. F. counterpart, Ilham Zuhair, that the club had yet to settle the players' strike that had seen them concede their previous league match against City Corsairs too.
"Then again, maybe we shouldn't be complaining too much." Noubaryan mused. "With -Blitz- on the horizon, It might be best of the guys are able to get a good rest, after the busy off-season."
Defending champions -Blitz- certainly looked fresh in their 9-0 crushing of Sentosa United, made all the more impressive by them clearly operating nowhere near their full might. Strike pair Franz Schachner and Rogger Oscate both had hat-tricks, and must be watched come Sunday surely.
