Verdimar 0 - 8 Grilled
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 4907 to
La Luna Banfora.

Abdulatif Al-Musallamani and
Constantin Fammler. Verdimar fielded:
Zimnis -
Falque,
Yabré,

Yombah,
Traoré,
Galman -
Sanogo,
Yaméogo,
Peredijonovas.
Grilled's lineup was:
Law -
Hutter,
其材 (Qicai) -
Trindade,
Chitre,
Keng Chuan,
An Keng,
田宮 (Tamiya) -
Kwang Tse,
Khairul,
Teck Fu.
Real Verdimar Banfora started the game in a 3-4-3 formation, whereas Grilled Birds lined up in a 2-5-3 formation. Grilled took the lead after 6 minutes making the score 0 - 1.
Paulino Trindade placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. The referee showed Verdimar's
Jean-Paul Galman the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled increased their lead after 15 minutes when
Lim An Keng broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. With the scoreboard showing that 29 minutes had been played, Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal after
Hwang Teck Fu came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Grilled's
冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) put the visitors up 0 - 3 after 30 minutes. After 36 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
Lim An Keng to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 73 percent of the time.
Chia Kwang Tse received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 65 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After the ball was lifted in from the left,
Hwang Teck Fu was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 73 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. After 78 minutes, Grilled's
Chia Kwang Tse burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. With 79 minutes played, the excellent ball from the wing by Grilled's
Paulino Trindade reached
Chia Kwang Tse's head, and he is not one to miss such an opportunity - 0 - 7. That made three goals for
Chia Kwang Tse and he was marked down for the hat trick.
Aw Keng Chuan would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Chan Ze Han entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 80 minutes. 80 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Damian Hutter gave
Radovan Jaška a quick hug as he left the field.
Rachid Yaméogo challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 81 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. After 82 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
Chia Kwang Tse a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 8. After 84 minutes,
冬馬 (Toma) 田宮 (Tamiya) took a hard knock between his legs. He needed a long breather but were eventually able to continue the game. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 3 minutes as stoppage time. The match ends 0 - 8. Grilled had most of the ball, with 72 percent of possession.
Dautaras Peredijonovas performed admirably for Verdimar.
Moumouni Yabré was a disappointment, however. Most important Grilled player was
Chia Kwang Tse. However,
Radovan Jaška made a disastrous appearance.
