Tragic Travis
Football fairytales do not always read as intended, and Travis Matsumura's would end prematurely, after being cut from the final round of trials at Polish H.A.L V.40 club Never trust a smiling cat. The 17 year-old Farmer Bunnies hopeful had been hailed as one of their most promising midfielders in their Rancher Rabbits academy, but that was not enough to keep his more-unrestrained brand of talent in the game.
"It was a huge shame." Buns assistant coach Li Aik Meng sighed, upon receiving the news that Matsumura had decided to accede to his parents' wishes, and continue on his academic journey. "Travis was the player I most enjoyed watching in his time at the Rabbits, bar none. Perhaps he may yet return in some capacity someday."
