Athletic Chad
Another Chicken Wings graduate got his career started, as Chad Zou won a contract with Venezuela's Atlético Zulia F.C, a couple of days after old pal Viswanathan Tanguturi's own move. A winger by trade, Chad had been described as promising but mercurial by observers; this led to him being passed over in several senior trials, until his new employers came calling.
Wings scout Mok Feng De recalled that he had always been this way. "Chad had been rejected from Bukit Regency's youth side for much the same reasons, before we got to him. He's got some habits we've not been able to unteach, but then again, press too hard and we might lose his creativity. It's a difficult balance to strike."
Anyway, this is no longer the Birds' problem, and it'll be up to German gaffer Lars Glitschen to get the best out of him. "Lars is a noted disciplinarian." Mok added. "He may be just who Chad needs, to fulfil his potential."
