Life At TheLuxe
17 year-old Rancher Rabbits winger Au Lee Kim was destined for an exotic destination, as he was picked up by Curaçao fourth division club TheLuxe for a small consideration. Irish Pub AC (French Division Six), Knight Matthew Continuous Revolution (Belgian Division Six) and AC Niutim (Italian Division Eight) were also willing to take Au on, but he was set on travelling off the beaten path.
"I didn't even know where Curaçao was, when my agent informed me of TheLuxe's interest." he admitted. "But the more I learnt about it, the better it sounded. Irish Pub AC were promising too, but my parents say that France is unstable nowadays."
Au also cited TheLuxe's underlying Italian style and influence as another plus, to which his scout Tong Han Kong agreed. "They have strong backing, and cultivated a fine environment for youngsters. Even if Lee Kim gets moved on, as Adrián Robledo and Othmane Fayrouzi for example have been, it's safe to say that he will be improved by the experience."
