Quach Gets Bite

17 year-old wing hopeful Brendan Quach will move to Naples' FerrariForce on a free transfer, joining up with Swiss signing Mattia Krauland in Augusto Veri's squad. Quach admitted that he would have stayed with the Birds, but the sheer impossibility of breaking into the first team led him to look for an out.

"Now that it's gone through, I think it'll be a great adventure, after all." Quach said. "The standards in Division Eight should just be challenging enough, but I hope to grow out of it as soon as I can!"

Finding a new employer for Grilled regular Ang Leong Kum proved rather more challenging, as the transfer-listed 28 year-old received just a handful of enquiries, that went nowhere fast. Djan Bacelar however stated that he was happy to keep Ang, if it came down to that.

"We're not in any huge hurry to sell, trust me on this. Ang remains one of our best players, and if he is to leave, we will insist on a fair price in return."
