Teo Takes Leave
17 year-old Chicken Wings winger Teo Chuan Yong moved to Spanish sixth division Los Cabesones on a free today, joining Dutchman Niek Cordang, as forward Cristian Stavilă left for Italy. Polish club Pogoń International had made a tentative approach too, but did not follow up.
Wings scout Mok Feng De predicted good things ahead for his protégé, who had redoubled his efforts after his first trial with West Coast Hawks ended in rejection. "Teo has made it a point to improve his passing accuracy and range, and he has often been the only one to stay back honing his free-kicks. He's been a pleasure to work with, and certainly has the attitude to make it with his new club."
