Just a day after Christopher Mauget's arrival, Grilled have obtained another C.M. - Christian Mier, Bolivian trainee.

A speedy midfielder, Mier has been deployed most productively as a shield for the defence for A. Pelota de trapo's youth team, although his raw pace has also served him well on attack in a pinch. This would fetch a shade over S$200000 for them, with Real Oriente United of the Brazilian sixth division having to be disappointed.

Mier had also drawn interest from HHS Concordia (Polish Division Eight), Rotblau 1893 (Swiss Division Six) and FC 7 Mongol Mountains (Mongolian Hattrick International Division Six), which Djan Bacelar deemed to be expected, given how much room he had to develop.

"He's one of the nippiest kids that I've come across, and it doesn't look like he's hit his ceiling on that yet. With proper coaching and conditioning, I would say that Mier definitely will have a good career ahead of him."
