Farmer Bunnies trainee forward Han Jia Kian, who won the senior coaches over with his bloody determination to stay in the game, snagged a free transfer to Belgian Division Seven club FC Pontweg today, as their very first foreign signing.

Han, who has recorded a few bench appearances, but not actually represented the Bunnies competitively in his short time here, was extremely grateful to Elias van Dal and his staff for assigning him a number and letting him train with the squad.

"It was touch and go. I was seriously considering hanging up my boots, when van Dal said I could hang about for a season and see what comes by. I couldn't have done it without all the help offered."
