Farmer Bunnies came up with a catch of their own, as they lured Tampines Phoenix F.C. youth team captain Nashrullah Alim with the promise of regular football. The S$252000 that changed hands was almost an afterthought, noted head coach Elias van Dal.

"Alim was one of those that we had our eye on for a long time, and we sent Ooi Long Ming over to keep tabs on his development more than once. From what he says, he's definitely the standout, even if their junior side are struggling a little."

The seventeen year-old's talents were also recognized by Lisboa-based G.R.Escorpiões, who were in pursuit throughout, though they do have a reputation for churning youngsters. Various sources put justme1982 (Dutch Division Six), African Jungle Kids (German Division Eight), Lenovo (English Division Five), F.C.Napoli Calcio (Romanian Division Six), FSKDolic (Slovenian Division Five), popolopo99 (Israeli Division Six) and Abu Dhabi SC (UAE Division Four) as interested at some point.

All said and done, though, Nashrullah is now a Bunnies man, and has chosen the 22 formerly belonging to Makarim Dhiya Azza and Brendan Leung as his number. "I can hardly wait to get started." he said simply. "This weekend would be great."
