Kwek Moves Up
Another Rancher Rabbits star went straight on to the Farmer Bunnies today, as
Kwek Yun Jie took after
Tham Leng Teck in signing on.
The two had often been placed in the same bracket by Rabbits followers, with the general consensus being that Tham was a slightly better defender overall, while Kwek had the superior attacking instincts bombing down the wing. To
Elias van Dal, it was a nice argument to be involved in.
"Kwek is a top-calibre recruit in his own right, and his sense of how to move on the flanks is second to none." the clearly expectant head coach judged. "I've seen few as rounded as him fresh out of a youth academy, and from what I heard, he even packs a mean right foot from free-kicks!"
The laid-back Kwek chose outgoing Derek Ang's Number Six as his new number, as he tried to keep a low profile during his first public interview. "Goals? Eh... does staying employed count?"
