Sofian So Far

Elias van Dal proclaimed that he had completed his shopping spree for new talent, after snagging Villains F.C.'s Sofian Azfar for S$438000 this evening. Some commentators were quick to suggest that the club had paid over the norm, but van Dal was insistent that Azfar was just what the Bunnies were missing.

"We badly lacked somebody who would dare to try the unusual, and that's what the lad is known for." the Dutchman said. "Of course, he's got a solid defensive base to work on, the Young Villains taught him well. We might have been looking at Cheung De Wen and Alfred Hou before that, but I'd say that Azfar was the best fit."

Sofian's signature was obtained over heavy competition from Bosnian Division Four side Herceg-Bosna, with NK Mabgdi (Slovenian Division Five), Only Titans (Dutch Division Six), hunt or be hunted (Luxembourg Division Three) and COTOVELINHO FC (Brazilian Division Five) all confirmed to have been chasing the untamed youngster.
