Two, Three, Four, Gone

Roberto Mausisa's near-miss against Arrogancae would turn out to be his last for Grilled, as the 34 year-old Filipino former U-20 defender made a S$800 000 switch to Italian Division Eight side Lovorla, as his career winds down. He made 25 appearances in his two-and-a-bit seasons here, mostly on the left side of defence.

South Korean former U-20 midfielder Kyou-Chull Kim likewise left the Birds, with a S$612 000 offer from Swedish Division Five club Vilekon Peach narrowly trumping a similar one from Beaver WarrioR of the Romanian Seventh Division. The 33 year-old was used as a supersub for much of his first season, before playing a bigger role in the second. Unfortunately, he was still deemed surplus to requirements.

The transfers mean that the No. 3 and 4 jerseys are again available, but coach Han Lik-Tsun warned that they were unlikely to be filled in the near future. "The board are getting concerned with our wage obligations, and with good reason. There may be more to come."
