Grilled's coach Han Lik-Tsun pulled another transfer surprise, as he grabbed 32 year-old Swedish midfielder Anders Josefsson on a bargain S$310 000 deal with Turkish Division Six side gizlipisi. Josefsson, who spent the bulk of his career with now-defunct hometown side Bollis, and then Croatian side DDT, even has a Golden Boot for the latter after finishing a season with ten league goals.

Josefsson had been struggling with poor form and endurance with gizlipisi, but Han felt that he would surely come good after a few weeks. "Josefsson's strength is something that we have often missed, and he should have a good couple of seasons with us if all goes well." Han declared.
