Italian forward Michele Salieri, a week past twenty, switched to Polish Division Seven club FC OLIWKA on a S$1.536 million transfer, after asking for and failing to get assurances about playing time from the head coach. It was then felt that parting ways would be best for all parties concerned.

After initial low-key enquiries about suitable destinations came up with nothing, Spanish Division Eight side Arreplegats Olímpics agreed to Grilled's revised valuation of S$1.2 million. Surablå (Swedish Division Six) and AvcıSpor (Turkish Division Seven) then got into the act, but FC OLIWKA won out eventually, just days after shelling out in excess of S$10 million for Raimonds Jurgensons and Mustafa Cem Dünyadagülmez.
