Bot 3 - 0 Grilled

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 58241 had shown up at Kandang Harimau for the match. Noel Russ was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sivert Kvam and Josu Téllez. The following players took the field: Romete - Trasferti, Kian Chee, Minarovský, Phang, Lopo - Cepeda, Anžel, Kumi - Konaev, Russell.

Lineup: Dob - Webb, 中北 (Nakakita) - Künzler, Davlatov, Mohammad Harun, Muthyala, Dong Chu - Mudaliar, Xin Seng, Egan.

Bot Team FC entered the field in a 5-3-2 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Bot on this day, taking advantage of their divine (+7) level with that tactic. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their divine (+3) level with that tactic. Oleg Konaev knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 1 - 0 after 18 minutes. After 41 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Bot found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Bot was able to get his message across, and raised Bot's organisation to solid. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita) reluctantly made way for Bhavya Panigrahi on the pitch. Coming through the middle Islom Davlatov almost scored the equaliser for Grilled after 53 minutes, but Cristian Romete made an excellent save, tipping the awkward curled shot past the post. The goal to make it 2 - 0 was scored by Kong Kian Chee after 62 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by Bot. The visitors got a chance to pull one back after 67 minutes, as the home defence went to sleep, leaving Bilal Mohammad Harun completely unmarked in the middle. His strike was pathetic though, and dribbled into the arms of the home side's keeper. Bot caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 73 minutes into the match. Stewart Russell was able to finish off the move - 3 - 0. After 80 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Vikram Mudaliar off the field. Chu Xin Lee took his place. It was announced by the referee that he estimated stoppage time to be around 1 minute. This meant there could still be an extra attack or two left in the match! The match ends 3 - 0. Grilled had most of the ball, with 71 percent of possession.

Bot's top performer was clearly Stewart Russell. On the other hand, Nicholas Phang's play was disheartening. Most important Grilled player was Chu Xin Lee. Heng Dong Chu turned in a dismal performance, however.
