It would have to be someone special to break into Grilled's senior squad straight from the academy, and Moey Xin Seng positioned himself to be one of these rare ones, from the moment he stepped foot in the Chicken Wings clubhouse.

Boasting the seldom-seen knack of being as dominant in the air as he was facile on the ground, Moey swiftly established himself as one to watch, on a par with former national U-20 forward Fang Tong Rong, and perhaps even Mohd Safri and Tian Yonghang before him.
