The crowd of 3901 turning up at

Grilled Birds entered the field in a 4-5-1 formation. The visitors, Vernon City, chose to start the game with a 5-3-2 lineup. Grilled demonstrated their titanic creative tactics on the field. Some great play up the middle by Grilled led to a chance for
Bernie Egan to score after 5 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. After 19 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Grilled found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. They were singing the praises of
Kalki Parvathaneni 28 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Grilled. 30 minutes into the game, Grilled seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation.
Vikram Mudaliar's lightning pace was too much for
Hartwig Gerwers who could only look on as the Grilled player blasted one home. 2 - 0. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.
Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Grilled was able to get his message across, and raised Grilled's organisation to solid. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Bernie Egan reluctantly made way for
Chu Xin Lee on the pitch. 63 minutes into the game,
Stephan Eglhofer finished off a Vernon left wing counterattack, making the score 2 - 1.
Prokop Mottl increased the lead for Grilled to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
Vikram Mudaliar of Grilled was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish
Hartwig Gerwers, which resulted in a goal making the score 4 - 1. 79 minutes into the game, Grilled seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to weak. 80 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution.
José Luiz Velho came on for
Prokop Mottl. Grilled's
Bhavya Panigrahi struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 5 - 1 after 80 minutes.
Bhavya Panigrahi had a fantastic opportunity to put Grilled up another goal 85 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar.
Dante Tran would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
雄輝 (Yuki) 入江 (Irie) entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 88 minutes. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 2 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 5 - 1. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 75 percent.
The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt
Chu Xin Lee. However,
Eren Serpin made a disastrous appearance. Most important Vernon player was
Radu Onea. On the other hand,
Christian Braye's play was disheartening.
