Malicieux Malus

The Birds would be cut down 0-5 by French fifth division side Les Malicieux in the penultimate match of their Trophy of Legends campaign, with Malicieux seemingly having a counter for everything Grilled threw at them. Manuel Vadalà would celebrate his apparently throwing Juan Carlos Bedoya on his 20th minute penalty attempt, but these proved premature with Baptiste Mullet crushing through the middle, and Bedoya making up for the miss with his run through onto goal, fifty minutes later.

A dull scoreless draw against Romanian VI.154 side Steaua București followed, with the Bucs earnestly pressing Grilled's players, and Grilled not having enough class to escape it just yet. This did get two Bucs men - Gaëtan Conter and Raffaele Lestingi - booked in the course of action, but they appeared to be fine with it. Lim An Keng might well have won it after Radu Babici barely got to Chad Thach's lob from nowhere, but he would direct it inches wide.

With this, the Birds finished in 4729th position of 6776 participants with a 2-3-3 record and a negative 8 goal difference, which club captain Moey Xin Seng thought was encouraging, for what was essentially a youth nucleus. "The lads did themselves proud, I would say. They mostly went up against seasoned pros, and didn't quit."

Farmer Bunnies' final day would see a 1-0 win followed by a loss by the same margin, with Xue Kangfang their hero against Italian Division Six club A.C. picchia duro, scoring a 22nd minute stunner shortly after a yellow card for a messy challenge at the other end. Polish striker Szymon Ziaja would get on the end of a few Claudio Bava deliveries in the second half, but never without the close attentions of a Buns defender.

Spanish V.61 winners Second Change IdR would snag the final fixture through Joaquim Francisco Silva Viegas's explosive 38th minute free-kick, in a dynamic game that saw Vitaliy Efendiev denied by goalie and post. With this, the Bunnies finished 895th of 2026 teams with three wins and three draws.

As for Grilled International, they were perhaps unfortunate not to have gotten a point out of Czech Division Five side Kogi Papluha, with a brave late surge getting them from two goals down, to tie 4-4 as Li Xin Chi and Arcadi Sansalvador managed the rare feat of scoring in the same minute. Unfortunately, this went to their heads, and 40 year-old German forward Reiner Taduran cleaned Querubim Santos Couto's clock from outside the box in reply.

They did beat Czech IV.60 representatives SK SLAVIE HODONÍN next, fittingly with Ragib Banović closing the game out, 4-2 - as Tibor Atzenhain fluffed a penalty once more. This had them 2655th with a 3-1-4 record from 4714 participants, which will do little to mollify their outraged support.
