Chia Kwang Tse signed terms for his senior contract upon a few days after reaching eligibility, which has him join Chicken Wings best buddy Lim An Keng as a full-fledged Birds player. The duo will seek to reprise their intimidating presence in midfield at the senior level. Lim had, in fact, gone as far as to suggest delaying his official start date to today to match Chia's, but reconsidered after learning that it would cause his weekly salary to be delayed too. "Five hundred bucks is five hundred bucks." he noted.

Head coach Tian Yonghang welcomed both youngsters to the main setup, and hoped that they would continue their blossoming partnership. "It's always a special feeling practising your craft with those one has grown up around. Trust me, I know about this."
