Chicken Wings graduate Soon Li Shun achieved the next step in his career that he had been waiting for, as he was signed by Amsterdam club MeiLingSuckie$5 on a free. The burly 18 year-old striker is already looking forward to starting in the Dutch sixth division for the newly-registered side, whose native head coach Lion Dumas made Soon the club's first transfer.
Ever the budding professional, Soon claimed to be unfazed by either the foreign environment, nor by the challenge of serving in a frankly not-very-organized team, that had just been schooled 2-6 by Royal Forest Wanderers. "They're a rough and robust bunch down here - just my type. I say we stick together, work together, and start winning some games."
