Bulls Claim Low
17 year-old Farmer Bunnies winger Low Jia Yeow signed on a free transfer to Guangxi-based club Chicago bulls 23 today. The newly-established outfit, who will start out in the fifth division of the Chinese league system, have signed four other young trainees under the leadership of head coach Fu Guantian, among of which Spanish teenager Pablo Corsavi has made the biggest splash.
Rancher Rabbits chief scout Yip De Da however pegged Low to go far with his new club. "China is a huge land of opportunity at the moment, and Low should have no problems adapting to the culture."
"Skills-wise, he's technically proficient in the basics that a winger should possess - there's a good crossing right foot on him - and he's also a fair threat in the air. This should open up quite a few positions, and I daresay Chicago won't be sorry if they utilize him well."
