Daichi Snapped Up
Nearly three months after his close friend, 18 year-old Daichi Togashi has finally followed Yuki Irie on the road to a footballing career. The fleet-footed midfield player was signed by English Division Six side LD Sharks on a free, and will now be based in London.
Tham Beng Li predicted eventual success for Daichi, who has been unofficially training with both the junior side and the reserves after his promotion from the Chicken Wings. "He's still a little raw about the edges, but this shouldn't discourage him." Tham said. "He has time yet to pick up the tactical nuances, and meanwhile his speed will get him out of some dicey situations."
