Alvaro Adieu
Peruvian backup goalkeeper
Alvaro Silvera left for Poland's FC Kopacze on a free transfer today, after several weeks on the transfer list by his own request. Silvera, days from his 39th birthday, was eager to resume playing on a regular basis after his reserve spot was usurped by
Hovaness Noubaryan, and will now move to his ninth club in a long career.
"I started out with two free transfers, so it's come full circle." the flashy Silvera, who played for two Portuguese, two Italian, a Spanish and a Czech side before arriving in Singapore, joked. "Europe, here I come again!"
