Club historians have confirmed that this is the first season in which Grilled have won all their friendlies, with their next best showing being nine wins and a draw in Season 29 when they lifted the Singapore Community Cup as part of Team Geylang.

This meant little when compared with the trouble that has been reported to be brewing in the dressing room, however, as several players, speaking on condition of anonymity, described Canadian goalie Dexter Stacey as "a cancer".
