There were rumblings that all was not right with Grilled, as head coach Marcus Liehner was nowhere to be seen during the match. In fact, it was not even clear who if anybody was directing Grilled's efforts, with team captain Han Lik-Tsun, an unused substitute, coming closest to filling that role.

The task of recapping the game then fell to Bao-Tam, the oldest player on the pitch. He admitted to not having a very good overview from his position, but felt that his defence "could do better", and that the young strikers "were alright".
