Hu Jianyong got his move too, a S$4.2 million deal with French Division Six club US Saint-Marcel that will see him replace Polish left winger Miłowit Szindler. Shorts (Ukrainian Div 5) and Soranon (Peruvian Div 5) were involved up till the late stages of negotiations.
Hu was initially reluctant to leave the Birds, but later pledged his future to his new team. "From what I've heard, the Stade Fécal has a great atmosphere, and Fan is just next door in Spain. I'm quite sure I'll be scoring more than him."
