Austrian Division Six side FC Prinz United signed surplus 20 year-old winger
Tao Tingfeng for S$184 000 today, as Liehner struggles to come to terms with Grilled's influx of youth gems. The lanky Tao has featured in six Singapore Cup wins for the Birds last season, but has not shown sufficient improvement over his two years in the senior side to make the cut.

Tao reluctantly agreed, as his heart was set on making it big at his hometown club, but was heartened to hear that many clubs were after his services. Ziper (Ukraine Division Six), Busby (Romanian Division Seven), Galatasaray Mainburg (German Division Ten), CSKA- PLOVDIV (Bulgarian Division Six), Segunda Pelota F.C. (Uruguay Division Six), F.C. Rulmentul Cugir (Romanian Division Eight) and PSV Castellaneta (Italian Division Ten) all made inquiries.
