Kenyan Booking

U-20 Singapore got their qualifying campaign off to a flying start, as they defeated Kenya 0-4 in their own stadium. Grilled's Quah Han Kok was selected in a playmaking role alongside All Star Team's Ho Lee Pin, and they combined well for the opener by Seah Yun Leong.

Skipper Loo Jie Kok headed strongly to make it a two goal cushion by the 24th minute, and a rapid two goals in the second half from Looi Keng Xin and Kok Teck Shun put Singapore firmly in the driving seat. Han Kok earned the dubious distinction of being the only player booked in the game, for arguing with the referee.

Han Kok had this to say after the game: "We won convincingly and that's what matters. Also, yellow cards do not carry over in qualifying competiton, so it doesn't matter either." Right you are, son.
