19 year-old central defender Woon Yi Jin won a S$38 000 move to Buenos Aires side Oliver Aton F.C., currently in Argentina's Division Ten. He will face stiff competition as the newly-formed club signed six other young players to beef up its initial squad, but the cultured Woon, who loves moving up with the ball, had no fear.
FC Wi-Wi (Poland Division Eight), Montrichard (French Division Seven), Asociacion No Name Futbol Club (Argentina Division Six) and 14all-W (Denmark Division Seven) were the other sides linked with Woon. "When the seniors have been hitting a bump in the S-League, it's always a relief to see the youth side doing well." Youth defending coach Francis Eng said.
