Grilled Birds took on a second Spanish player as Rafael Garcia Sole joined from Sydney Swifts for S$22000. Formerly of Eracheboa, the 22-year old Sole will look to inject some continental flavour into Grilled's stodgy midfield as he takes to the field as an offensive midfielder.
Gao Seng-kar was reportedly impressed with Sole's workrate. "He will provide good bite into the midfield, which recently has not looked too active." Sole could not be reached for comment as he left early with fellow countryman Tomas Semprun Balenciaga. Sole will retain his No. 6 shirt from Eracheboa as that number was left vacant with the departure of Yin-Xiang.
