Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 49167 to The Cooking Pot. Hansjürgen Draxlbauer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by 谭 (Tan) 兴宗 (Xingzong) and Fikri 'Fikky' Fick. Grilled managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when Ibnou Balde cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Grilled's Aw Keng Chuan swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

Controlar's David Ramos was shown a yellow card after 51 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Federico Parada went down after twisting his right ankle in minute 52, but was able to continue the match none the less. Cheers filled the stadium as Ibnou Balde broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Grilled. Bhavya Panigrahi would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Gilbert Webb entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 80 minutes. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's Chan Ze Han increasing the lead to 4 - 0. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Damian Hutter gave Chia Kwang Tse a quick hug as he left the field. As the match nears its end, the referee has deemed it appropriate to add 1 minute as stoppage time. Ibnou Balde was in no condition to play on. He left the field limping after 89 minutes, with his right thigh bandaged. The player that took his place was Orest Tokarz. The match ends 4 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

Most important Grilled player was Chan Ze Han. On the other hand, Chia Kwang Tse's play was disheartening. 雅人 (Masato) 江連 (Ezure) performed admirably for Controlar. Ramon Laurent on the other hand, had a terrible day.
