Jaya Let Go
Not a few International fans were riled up as the club allowed academy star Hj Jaya bin Sidek to leave, and what more on just a free transfer, to Hungarian Hattrick Anniversary League club MÁV-ELŐRE FC. The 17 year-old attacker had been regarded as a rare find by Adinath Pant, that the scout regarded as "
one of the best he had brought here".
Swiss head coach
Didi Reidenbach revealed that he had been keeping tabs on Jaya, but that the current team composition was simply not conducive to developing him the manner he deserved. "His talent is obvious, but there just isn't a way to fit him in the rotation right now. We've spoken with MÁV-ELŐRE FC head Archibald Czank, and he assures us that Jaya will be treated right."
Still, the move wouldn't go down well with the rank and file, many of whom appear to support booting half the regulars, and giving Jaya a run. "It can't exactly get much worse, can it?" diehard supporter Abdul Zafran complained. "Might as well clear them all out, and redo everything."
