Two-time Singapore Challenger Cup winners Marina Sailors would pick up Farmer Bunnies trainee Neo Leng Seng on a free transfer today, notwithstanding the 17 year-old's foot injury from his outing at Finland's Liverpööl FC Yöuth. A smooth and graceful operator, Neo has had his admirers dotted around the country, and this lateral transfer to another Division Two club was about what he deserved.
Neo will join the likes of Dominic Joseph, Joram Extra and Sailors youth idol Tsamin Taha under Cristian Tărâţă's instruction, which Rabbits scout Yip De Da felt was as good as Neo could have expected, in terms of progression prospects. "Sailors are a very well-run club, who are not far from a return to the top flight. If Neo can pin down a place in their squad, he will have a bright future."
The lad himself was just impatient to get back on the pitch. "There's no time to waste here." he insisted. "I'm raring to go!"
