Ringing Up Chan
Grilled International moved 17 year-old trainee centreback Chan Leong Tong to Brunei III.1 side ringo star for a nominal S$23000 fee, with scout Zulfadly bin Hj Ratano adamant that they had gotten an excellent deal. "Chan has the tools to be a beast in the air, and his character's good too. Ringo having managed to recruit fellows the standard of Chen Woon Han on the cheap reflects very well on their eye for bargains, I have got to say."
Ringo are not done either, having also put out feelers for Chan's Busy Bees teammate Hj Besar bin Hj Imran. "We're working on that, but don't be surprised if they link up with each other again shortly." Zulfadly added.
