A Lion Is Foo
18 year-old Busy Bees player Foo Keng Da got his career off to a fine start, as he signed on with III.12 club Temburong Lions, a few blocks over. Equally adept defending the goal as he is with banging them in, Foo's full-time position remains up in the air.
"I'll be relying on Mr. Ghica's advice for this." Foo said, on where he preferred to be deployed, as he laid claim to the Number 18 shirt upon the completion of his free transfer. Foo actually had a competing offer from Dutch sixth division club FCS 79, but parental concerns - and his own preferences - had him stick to the familiar.
"There will be plenty of chances to go abroad." he added. "As it is, I won't even have to change my daily bus routine!"
