Farmer Bunnies wide attacker Thoyyib Sapiee accepted a training contract with current Kuwaiti III.13 leaders and two-time Al Kuwayt Consolation Cup champions *Brøndby.IF 1964* today. The 17 year-old embarked on the free transfer with full knowledge that a permanent arrangement was far from guaranteed, but also that it would be a boost for his career either way.
"Thoyyib has been one of our more mature and reliable attackers." his Rabbits scout Tong Han Kong expressed. "His hat-trick against Squadra Azzura Youngsters on New Year's Day was only a glimpse of what he can do. To me, if he hadn't been slightly overaged, and maybe had a special weapon down his sleeve, he would have been far more heavily recruited."
Sapiee was hardly feeling sorry for himself, though, what with the prospect of learning from former international stars such as England's Kenny Allen and Kuwait's Fadi Kosay. "Can't really ask for more."
