17 year-old trainee defender Zamri Mohd Firdaus secured a free transfer to Serbian Division Five leaders Premijeri, within a week after his graduation from the Chicken Wings. Zamri acknowledged that his youth career had not been the most glittering, and vowed to make the most of Demetrio Cabiddu's trust in him.

"I think I left a good impression on their scouts." Zamri commented. "Premijeri are a big club, they've just sold Saqer Hmouz for over S$12 million, and it was just spare change to them; I'm very honoured to have received this opportunity, and I'd like to thank the coaches back at the Wings for not giving up either!"

This was however the end of the journey for a number of other hopefuls from Grilled International, with Hj Tajit bin Mohd, Cai Jingxi and Kamal bin Hj Sagap accepting that they were unlikely to make it in the pro ranks. On the other hand, Farmer Bunnies would award 19 year-old goalkeeper Arvind Shah a training contract with the seniors, taking into consideration longtime backup Akıner Sayın being 39 years of age.
