Bees Take It Ejea
Following in the footsteps of the Chicken Wings, Grilled International's youth side - the Busy Bees - has also swopped their league. They bid farewell to the Turkey-affiliated Akkoç Paf Ligi with a 3-0 home win over Poland's Młode Karpie, and travelled to Beijing three days later for their Champions Ejea League opener; it ended 4-0 in their favour, with opponents kakaxiya playing their first ever match.
This had the Bees in second spot, with only michi tina's 5-0 walloping of Litlle Tigres putting them ahead on goal difference; impressively, half of the six opening games would end in draws.
For International scout Daud bin Radiman, these displays have convinced him that protégé Mo Mingren, who scored in both, is due a wonderful future. "He's the best fifteen year-old I've come across, you'd hardly believe he's not at least three years older! A coach's dream too, he tracks his man as if his life depended on it."
