When There's A Wil
Two other youth hopefuls found new clubs today, the first among them being the Bunnies' Wil Mau. As with Ho Dong Ze and Ooi Tze Yi, the 18 year-old Wil considered himself a winger, and had been recognized as being effective, if not especially graceful, for the Rancher Rabbits.
Rabbits scout Tong Han Kong felt that German Division Seven side FC Blaubein had done well to induct Wil alongside Dutch youngster Hein Hertzberger. "I can't say that he's a world-beater, but he won't be intimidated whatever the opposition, that much I can say for sure."
Over in Brunei, the Busy Bees' James Pimentel also signed on a free transfer, in his case with Finnish Division Six club FC Pullapirtti. Likewise amongst their first two signings, James will arrive in Helsinki alongside French lad Arnaud Ray, latterly of Plelan LP.
A forward by preference, James had by his own admission been serviceable but not outstanding at the Bees, something that he hopes to rectify. His mentor Daud bin Radiman backed him on this. "James' very mature for his age, and if he sets his mind to it, I can see him continue to improve steadily."
