With 31 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was L. Lee Hao. It was 1 - 3 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 60 percent of the ball.

After 47 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed G. Filippone to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 4. H. Kokociński caught everyone by surprise with a unexpected volley after 52 minutes. F. Marchelli was perfectly placed to take advantage of the play, but unfortunately, he was as surprised as anyone and couldn't finish for Deflector. With the scoreboard showing that 56 minutes had been played, Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal after 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Grilled's M. Xin Seng was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 70 minutes. N. Barev got a fingertip on M. bin Mohd Kassim's shot from the left 71 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. After 73 minutes, Grilled's W. Ping Shun burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 5. Deflector's W. Świtoń got himself booked for a foul. W. Ping Shun left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. L. Aik Jia was the replacement. W. Ping Shun was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that 雄. 入江 (Irie) got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. L. Lee Hao wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by R. Isufi. With 81 minutes of the game having been played, L. Aik Jia received a blow to the hip in a collision and was unable to continue. Grilled, with no available replacements, now faced the prospect of finishing the game with a reduced number of players. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
