Due to an all-day shower, 4227 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at The Cooking Pot. Gunnar Føreland was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Joerg Khreninger-Guggenberger and Lars Ingelmar. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. The following players took the field: Tian Han - 福泉 (Fuquan) , Filippone - Jing Wei, Won, Meyer, Leong Kum, Aik Jia - Isufi, Lee Hao, bin Mohd Kassim.

Mousa decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Starters: Haj-Amin - Bangara, Iliev, Rosella, Piippanen - Fruchard, Ottosen, Dejn, Schmidt-Pauli - Christinger, Arkless.

Grilled used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. It was obvious that Mousa were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. R. Isufi neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to C. Meyer who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. After 34 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Mousa found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. Grilled took the lead 41 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as Z. Jing Wei elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Mousa needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 42 minutes A. Haj-Amin made way for V. Rodrigues. N. Dejn was the new captain of Mousa - handed the armband by the departing player. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. C. Meyer squirmed through their central defence after 42 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. After 44 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by L. Lee Hao might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, V. Rodrigues made a spectacular save. R. Isufi's lightning pace was too much for G. Rosella who could only look on as the Grilled player blasted one home. 3 - 0. The home side's M. bin Mohd Kassim came close to extending the lead 44 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but V. Rodrigues managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. L. Aik Jia spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. G. Filippone's curling free kick almost found the goal for Grilled, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 77 percent of possession.

During the break, Mousa's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. Z. Jing Wei increased the lead for Grilled to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! By now, the players in Grilled felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Mousa's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 65 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but V. Rodrigues got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 80 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A great save by keeper V. Rodrigues after 81 minutes kept the visitors in the game after Z. Jing Wei struck from the left with a real cannonball. Grilled managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when M. bin Mohd Kassim cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Mousa's N. Dejn was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 87 minutes. E. Joyce was given a chance to change things around. As N. Dejn exited the field, H. Schmidt-Pauli volunteered to be the new set pieces taker. V. Rodrigues became the new Mousa captain. With 87 minutes played, the Mousa coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. D. Kang came on, G. Rosella had to leave the fray. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let R. bin Ahmad replace G. Filippone after 89 minutes. G. Filippone was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that A. Leong Kum got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. L. Lee Hao wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for M. Xin Seng after 89 minutes. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 77 percent.

Grilled's best player was C. Meyer. On the other hand, M. Xin Seng's play was disheartening. E. Joyce performed admirably for Mousa. Y. Iliev on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
