Teng To Llŷn

17 year-old defender Teng Chun Kong is pencilled in to make his professional debut for newly-established Welsh Division Four club Llŷn FC against Wrecsam Rabble in the Ruby Challenger Cup, after his hurried S$44000 move just about met the registration deadline.

It was nearly too late for that as Teng considered a competing offer from Italian Division Seven side VIAREGGIO HEDGEHOGS, but Llŷn head coach Steve Davies persuaded Teng in the nick of time, in the process making him the Static United FC affiliate's first external signing.

Mok Feng De was excited for the teenager, coming as the move did after two of Teng's youth team seniors had been forced to leave. "We're always happy to have our Wings boys get a chance, and I daresay Teng will fulfil his promise as a centreback, if he gets the gametime he needs."
