Ricky Making It
Swedish Division Five club Fysilken Hotspurs completed the S$246000 capture of Chicken Wings graduate Rick Tsang today, having successfully defended their interest in the tall defensive midfielder over a late intrusion by Croatia's Zagreb Galaxy, who severely tested Hotspurs' resolve by a sudden doubling of the bid.
Kronos Yaman (Yemeni Division Four), F.C.HIERROS (Italian Division Nine), Paradijsvogel DC (Belgian Division Seven), Northern Sheffield F.C (Northern Irish Division Four), Samozwańcy (Polish Division Eight) and Sober drunks (Croatian Division Five) made approaches, but it was soon evident that Dutchman Siemen Reimer was prepared to put his wallet where his mouth was. That said, Hotspurs do have a habit of moving players on quickly, and Tsang will have to be on his best behaviour.
At the signing ceremony,
Djan Bacelar had to concurrently dismiss suggestions that Grilled had been looking at former richlyeng rangers U-20 forward Quek Tze Chun, with the 21 year-old having just moved to Polish club Legio-legionowo for a shade under S$3 million. "Nope, never considered it. He's a fine striker, though."
