rubin_kazan clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Hilal Bakhtiar">Hilal Bakhtiar, but the Grilled player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! rubin_kazan levelled the score after 18 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as Domenico Rudig struck home after a fine midfield combination through the middle, leaving him completely unmarked. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 28 minutes, rubin_kazan did not go for a direct shot but instead aimed for the area just in front of the keeper. The attacking players made several runs as the ball was played and made it hard for the defenders to protect their goal. After a short tussle with the defender, Farook Haj-Kaleel finally tucked the ball home. 1 - 2. rubin_kazan's Bram Martin got himself booked for a foul. Hovaness Noubaryan's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Grilled, he bravely continued in the match. 34 minutes in, and Grilled was able to score the equalising 2 - 2 goal when Hung Wee Li picked up a pass coming in from the right and chipped it past the away team's keeper. The defenders were clearly outwitted by Grilled after 38 minutes. The disciplined free kick combination shifted the ball quickly to one side of the box, then back to the other. Teo Yong Yau appeared on cue near the post, and steered it past the goalie. 3 - 2. The visitors' Yardan Ibn-Seif was alert on a play coming in from the left, tying the score at 3 - 3 after 39 minutes. It was 3 - 3 at the break. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

As the 46 minute approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Hung Wee Li reluctantly made way for Neo Da Teck on the pitch. They were singing the praises of Li Boon Boon 51 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from just outside the centre part of the opponent's penalty area found its way over the visitors keeper to make the score 4 - 3 for Grilled. Grilled's Li Boon Boon was delighted to score the 5 - 3 goal after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing after 66 minutes. With 70 minutes played, rubin_kazan's Farook Haj-Kaleel fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Farook Haj-Kaleel for diving. As Colby Awyong was substituted 80 minutes into the game, he could take comfort in the fact that his team was in the lead. Slavcho Tzonkov was the replacement. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes, Walter Ross came on for Hilal Bakhtiar">Hilal Bakhtiar. Neo Da Teck was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. After 84 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Li Boon Boon might have resulted in another goal for Grilled. However, Hadad Turk made a spectacular save. Grilled added another goal to their lead as Mayur Gudivada struck home the 6 - 3 goal after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 85 minutes in, rubin_kazan's Nikola Jurišić received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Grilled's lead to 7 - 3 as Slavcho Tzonkov finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. Walter Ross of Grilled was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 78 percent of possession.

Slavcho Tzonkov performed admirably for Grilled. Hovaness Noubaryan on the other hand, had a terrible day. rubin_kazan's best player was Bram Martin. Hadad Turk turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 7 - 3.
