Ross left his first club TSV Lokomotive FB'03 days after it was renamed to AS Goal United 03 in the hopes of kick-starting a stagnant career, and got his break from Grilled, who were looking for a defensive squad member.

His arrival however coincided with both a surplus of proven veteran former internationals, and a shift to more attacking tactics, and Ross found minutes hard to come by. He has however repeatedly made clear his intention to stay and fight for his place.
